Home Design AI is an iOS app that helps users design and visualize interior and exterior spaces. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what is needed for the app to function.
Information We Collect
Images You Upload
The app processes photos you upload or capture in order to generate designs. These images may contain identifying information if you include people, locations, or personal items.
Uploaded photos are stored temporarily for up to 48 hours. This short retention period allows us to:
- process your photo
- reprocess it if you request another version
- avoid requiring another upload while the photo is cached
After this window, photos are automatically deleted from our servers. You may also delete images in the app at any time.
Anonymous Usage Data
We also collect anonymous usage data to help diagnose problems and improve the app’s performance. This includes information such as device type, app version, feature usage, crash logs, and general performance metrics. None of this data identifies you.
Subscription and Purchase Data
If you subscribe or make a purchase, we receive basic transaction information from Apple. We do not receive your payment card details. All billing is handled through Apple.
Optional User Input
If you contact support through the app, you may be asked to provide an email address so we can respond to you. Any information you choose to include in your support message is also collected and used only to address your request.
What We Do Not Collect
- We do not create personal user accounts.
- We do not ask for your name or any persistent identifier.
- The only identifying information we may receive is what appears in the photos you upload or the email you provide if you contact support.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- generate and display your designs
- improve performance and AI quality
- cache images briefly for reprocessing
- process purchases and manage subscriptions
- diagnose technical issues
- respond to support requests
- detect and prevent misuse
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers.
Third-Party Services
We work with trusted service providers who assist with:
- cloud hosting
- AI image generation
- analytics
- Apple’s in-app purchase system
These providers receive only the data needed to deliver their services.
Data Retention
- Uploaded photos: automatically deleted within up to 48 hours
- Cached data: removed when no longer needed
- Local data: deleted when you uninstall the app
- Support messages (including email address): kept only as long as needed to respond
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- access your data
- request deletion
- export your data
- withdraw consent, if applicable

Children’s Privacy
The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We use standard security measures to protect your data. No online service is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard the information we store.
